Big three of Warriors has more winning in mind: Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson

The Golden State Warriors are the closest thing to a dynasty we have in the NBA today.

Across the last nine seasons, Golden State has won four championships and traveled to six NBA Finals — the most of any team in this time frame.

During this run, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson have enjoyed more success than almost every other trio in league history. They’ve set numerous records, broken barriers and of course, won titles.

But the big three aren’t done yet.

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson plan to do a whole lot more winning with the Golden State Warriors this season.

When posed with the question of how many games will his team win this season, Draymond simply replied via Instagram “a whole lot!”

The Dubs won 53 games last season despite each member of the big three missing chunks of the season. Curry missed 18, Green 38 and Thompson 50.

With the team fully healthy entering the 2022-23 NBA season, it feels certain they will surpass their win total from last year.

As Thompson says, finally having a full offseason of being healthy enough to hoop has him feeling grateful. This is his first summer without nurturing a major injury since 2018.

It’s clear the Warriors are in good spirits after winning the 2022 NBA Finals. And it helps that Klay is making the most of his time back on the court.

While Curry has been more reserved this offseason, there is no doubt he is just as excited as his star teammates to return this year and make another run at a title.

There are numerous contract situations looming over the Warriors, including Draymond’s upcoming extension and Thompson’s down the line.

While there is no telling how those deals will be resolved, the Dubs can rest assured that this big three is fully dedicated to playing for championships while they still can.
